Welcome to Boston Mystics Discord! Please read the following rules.

==Rules==
#Don't be a jerk.
#No commercial links. Public Discord server invites and Facebook URLs are fine as long as they are not spammed. For private servers, please get permission from the owner/admin before posting.
#No discussion or teaching of spoofing or botting.
#No bashing or heated arguments to other people in the chat.
#No adult (18+), explicit, cursing, or controverisal messages. Some of us are parents with kids.
#No offensive name. I'll personally change it to something funny if your name is offensive.
#If you are not verified Mystic, you have limited access to the channels.
#If you are a verified Mystic, you'll see all the channels. To become verified member, please find a sponsor who is a verified member, or post a screenshot of Pokemon Go avatar screen. However, If your level is lower than 26, please find another member who vouch your account. It's too easy to multi account. If we find out that you have multiple account and your Mystic account is lower than non-Mystic account, we will remove your "verified" status. Also, if you declare yourself not Mystic player, you cannot be Mystic here.
#Do use common sense. We'd like to keep the server relevant. We welcome good jokes, but large quantity of memes or chatbots can go elsewhere to dump your crap.
#If you are caught spoofing/botting, we ban you. We know it's not a big deal to you and legit players, but we don't feel like having a known cheater around.
#Do not ever ask the raid group code over Discord. Doing so - you will get immediate ban.
#We may kick you out if you do a raid call in #mystic_chat. Please use #public-raid-calls or local channels for raid calls.

==No Raid Code Rule==
No raid code rule is added - because regardless of circumstances, asking the raid group code on Discord is really bad for receiving end. Some phones even cannot handle running Discord and Pogo apps. So, this is a total jerk move. However, spoofers have to do this. Also, by posting the code, you are helping the spoofers.

Besides, if you do spoof-raid, it's just a bad manner as you cannot say hello to your fellow trainers. We are playing a social game here. This goes back to "Don't be a jerk"

If you want to add channel, please post to #town-hall-meeting. We can talk about what to add.

If you want to mod to prune messages to keep the content relevant to the channel, please mention it in the #town-hall-meeting as well.

If you need a separate channel for organizing raid team, feel free to use #public-raid-calls.
However these channels are set to public, meaning any user can use these channels. If your buddy happens to be other team (WAT?), please use these channels.
You can use other servers for this purpose but we can do too.

==Multi accounting==
We are seeing more and more players joining who's primary account is not Mystic. We like to play together but admins came to a conclusion that it's really against the spirit of organizing Mystic community. We'd like you to leave the server if you are not Mystic. There is not much to gain if you are playing with non-Mystic account.

Please use #public-raid-calls and local channels for raid calls. If you post a raid call in #mystic_chat, #post-avatar-screenshot-to-join or #raid-tactics - the channels for non-raid calls, you could be kicked out from here. It's a crowded server (horay! easier for raid calls!) so we do ask you to follow a very simple rule. Raid calls in the local channels or #public-raid-calls
